Guestbook for Horace Warren Bates Showing 1 - 5 of 19 entries.

I was so sorry to hear about Horace. I saw him just a fews months ago at the hospital in Live Oak. We had a chance to talk for just a few minutes. I know you will miss him. I know Charles had fond memories of your family. He thought highly of all of you. I came to know Jim, Horace and your mother the best and thought highly of your mom. She was a special lady.

My prayers are with you.

Dear Charlene, Teddy, Ben and Jim:

We are so sorry to hear about Horace. We cherish the memories we have of all of you as we were growing up. The guys helping Daddy with the horses and then taking us riding. Charlene and Teddy visiting with Mama and taking us to the river swimming and then spending the night with you all. Gathering at Aunt Mary Edna's and Uncle Ben's for Holidays...all times we will never forget.

Please know you are all in our prayers and thoughts through this difficult time.

We love you all.

To all of the Bates Family,
I was very sad to hear about Horace, we all grew up together in Jennings, (I am the youngest daughter of Albert & Fannie Sauls). My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this valley, but as Christians we have the hope and assurance of being with our loved ones again one day soon in Heaven. May God uplift you and strengthen you and give you the faith you need right now that surpasses all human understanding.
Love
