Betty W. Marks, 79, of Valdosta died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Canton, Georgia on December 9, 1930 to the late Virgil and Pearl Scott Wilson and had lived in Valdosta for many years.
Survivors include her brother, A. W. Wilson of Tifton, her sister, Susie Wells of Vienna and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Carl Marks, four brothers, Lawrence Wilson, Junior Wilson, James Wilson, Grady Wilson and two sisters, Flossie Hayes and Addie Walters.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Friday, March 12, 2010 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating.
