Barbara A. Bowdren, 71, of Clyattville, died on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born in Kenton, OH to the late Austin & Dorothy Randall, she had lived most of her life in this area. Mrs. Bowdren was a member of Clyattville United Methodist Church, she loved her church and was a loving mother and a devoted caregiver to many family members and friends over the years.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Harry & Cecilia Bowdren of Valdosta; a daughter, Bonnie Bowdren Tureaud of Clyattville; and two sisters and a brother in law, Sara Byers of Roseville, MI and Diana & Dale Armstrong of Euart, MI. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Bridget (Jason) Kotterman of Lakeland, Diana Norris and Danielle Tureaud, both of Clyattville; two great grandchildren, Blake Kotterman and Katelyn Kotterman, both of Lakeland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Bowdren at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Clyattville United Methodist Church. Rev. Molly Danner will officiate.
