June C. Wetherington, 69, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Cook County on March 12, 1940 to the late Cary Austin and Mamie Bass Wetherington. Miss Wetherington was a retired chef for the 4H camp and worked in the bakery at Publix.
She is survived by one brother, Russell Wetherington of Hahira, nephews, Kenny Fain and Larry Register of Valdosta and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at two p. m. at the residence of her brother, Russell Wetherington, 5400 Hall Road, Hahira, GA. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com
